Alba Rihe
Cultural promoter
She holds a degree in Fine Arts and a diploma from the Independent Studies Programme (PEI) of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA). She is currently studying for a master's degree in Cultural Management. She has developed different work methodologies that have the same common thread: performance and the fusion of different artistic tools to spread a message that uses the voice, the absurd and corporal expression as outstanding elements. She defines herself as a "dyslexic clown to supervive a fractioned reality".
As a solo artist, she performed the act Todo ficción. In collaboration, she has developed several projects, such as the musical groups Las Bistecs and Venecia Flúor or the live arts show Cobalto (2018), with Laila Tafur.
In the educational field, she directed and coordinated Habitación 1418, the action space for young creatives shared by the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) and MACBA. Other educational projects include: JARL Days, the performative visits to the collection Arte como respuesta y Dibuja copia y distribuye, and CIRCA, a somatic board game in collaboration with secondary school students. In parallel, she has written her first book of poetry, Buganvilla.
She has been master of ceremonies at events such as La Orgullosa, La Mercè, Cabaret Clown and Memefest. She is currently involved in the Temporales project with her ensemble Venecia Flúor.
